"Kailey's Field of Grace"

The official name of this original painting has been changed from "Field of Grace" to "Kailey's Field of Grace".
This work of art is God-inspired and it depicts Kailey doing one of her favorite things on earth and perhaps in heaven as well!
It is in honor of Kailey Dixon whos life was a testimony with every breath she took for her 13 years of life.
God especially is to be honored because He blessed Kailey with an abundance of Grace.
He gave her life in her precious body which by human standards she was not suppose to live at all!!!
Some of you may already be aware of what has gone on in the lives of our friends
The Dixon Family. For those who are not aware, The Dixon's 13 year old daughter
Kailey passed away June 11, 2012.
Todd Dixon is the Director of Music
Ministry at our church, Calvary Community Church of Brea. His wife, Samadi
(Sam) sings during the worship time at our church.
Kailey's life was a
miracle each day she took a breath. Against ALL ODDS she lived when the doctors
said she wouldn't live! God had a bigger plan for Kailey Dixon.
She
was born with only 2 chambers in her heart. She had 6 major problems in her
heart. She was born with no spleen. Her kidneys were in the wrong place. She
had 2 lungs on the right side.
In her brief life she was rushed, or air
lifted to the hospital so many times it is to numerous to mention.
When she
was a baby she had a major surgery. There were complications. She battled to
live. The doctors had no hope. She woke up from her coma!!! She had many
physical struggles but continued to improve in her health.
She lived a life
full of giggling, laughter and full of color!!! Her life was a special gift
from the Lord.
She had another major surgery in May of this year. She came
through the surgery but had a seizure and went through Code Blue 3 times. She
was in a coma for about a week and a half or two. The Lord took her
home.
There are many amazing stories and testimonies surrounding
Kailey's Life. So many people have been impacted by this sweet little girl's
life.
Now, there are so many needs for this
family.
The Alley Cats an, A Cappella singing group is graciously
putting on a fund raiser for this precious family. Todd Dixon, Kailey's father
was one of the original singers in this group. He writes and arranges the songs
for The Alley Cats and has for 25 years.
